Hi Guys ,
Just looking for some point in the right direction. I am unsure if we need to take out some extra insurance for my daughter (over 18). She is currently riding a couple of different horse for a friend, having lesson on them and competing them. We do also transports the horse in our lorry to lessons, arena hire and competitions all of which we pay for . We do not get paid for this it benefits all parties horses get out doing things and competing, while daughter gets experience riding some very talented horses.
We insure our horse including one on loan to us but I don’t think all of my friends are insured. Additionally another person has asked if my daughter wants to do the same (someone we don’t know that well).
My daughter has a BD membership she did have a BHS membership (which may have lapsed not sure if cover is similar to BD)
I am just wondering if we should be looking to take further cover should something go wrong . I feel she falls in the grey area.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
