What are you trying to insure for, VG? Other people suing you for damage you cause, or damage to yourself?

Can I hijack, too, please. I'll need higher 3rd party liability insurance when I'm in livery and things aren't under my control. Whose is best/cheapest now, is it still joining the BHS?

@ycbm I would check first with your yard what they are covered for. When I moved one of mine to livery they were fully covered themselves, but he is on retirement livery so no riding. They do have to handle him for farrier etc so he isn't just chucked out in a field (god forbid! The little prince loves his field shelter and constant rug changes with the weather)

Thanks LG, good thought, but it's an enormous yard I hope to go to, used by hundreds of outsiders on any one day and I think I need my own in case somebody claims I caused them an accident on the farm ride or something.

Basically I have a part loan and I was looking for something to make sure I was covered if I or the horse is injured when I ride on those days
