I've owned my own horse for many years now, but sadly had to sell my boy for financial reasons
I was really missing my riding, so I've recently advertised and have had lots of people offering me free riding, which is fantastic! I am going to try my first possible horses on Monday.
I was wondering about 'rider only' insurance and whether to bother with it? I get free healthcare through work, so I'm not bothered about that aspect, it was more about 3rd party liability - I'm not sure whether the horse's own insurance would cover that if I was riding? Petplan want £75 a year for a rider only policy which I think is very costly :O
