All our horses are insured for vets bills, third party etc. We have a young girl who is riding one of them a bit. I feel that she should have some form of rider insurance - more to cover herself really if anything should happen to her. She is a pc member - would this be worth anything? Does anyone have any experience of this - how does it work for those of you that share your horses?

Thanks for any advice..

PC membership may include insurance I'm not sure, if not BHS junior gold membership is a very cheap way to get public liability and personal accident insurance and it also supports a worthwhile charity. You can buy membership as a gift too, might be a nice idea. She would get the badge and magazines and stuff too.

Thanks. I think that Pc insurance is on the same level as BHS insurance for third party - but not sure if they cover you on someone else's horse... If there was an accident I know that our horse is insured, but not sure what happens if the rider is insured..

Think I need to make a few phone calls.
