Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if you could please take a couple of moments to fill in my survey, I am a degree student looking at the effects of rider symmetry on the horses stride length and have made a short 7 question questionairre in order to collect research, if you could please fill it out that would be great,

To be perfectly honest, though, I don't think you are going to get any reliable or relevant information on a subject as complex as rider symmetry from a brief survey of people's opinions. There are also some spelling and grammatical errors, which I think is unacceptable at degree level.

I agree with the above. If this is just to satisy curiousity then fair enough but anything over and above that...........

Done but like others said people's perception may not be a reliable test for whether symmetry effects horses way of going. Good luck with it all.

Done. But I agree you will need to look at your spelling and grammar with regards to University work. Also, I am in agreement that this will tell you very little. I am aware I am "right sided" because I am constantly trying to improve my horses way of going and have explored all avenues thoroughly. I expect many riders think they are symmetrical but are not.

Done, but agree with others, it is very subjective and there are some errors of spelling and grammar which detracts from your work.

I too have done the survery, but was surprised that you did not mention that some people, while they may have a more dommnant side, may not have complete domminance on that side, ie they may be right handed but left footed, which could in turn have an impact on the horses way of going, if it is accepted that rider asymetry has an impact on the horse.
