It's the end of the season, and it's become apparent that I'm not very fit. Other than riding, does anyone have any ideas to improve my fitness or exercises to improve the strength of muscles used when riding? Thanks.
I found cycling and running helps me out with general fitness and stamina. Also working on legs using resistance machines at the gym for riding, as we use our leg muscles a lot.
erm i either run 2 miles in teh morning to the horse and back also after school or i will cycle there
its great i also do alot of genral exercise and am one of the fittest girls i no however imo am still not very fit i used to swim every sunday however i dont really anymore but am thinking of starting that up but on a saturday this time so i can go sj on sundays as that the day my dad is not beating
