Riding after clipping?!

Is it OK to ride immediately after clipping?

Want to clip my hairy ponio today (just a bib clip) and would like to ride him afterwards, is there any reason not to?

No reason not too but can be a bit lively when they feel the cold air on skin! You should be fine with a bib clip, normallly just a bit exciting after a full clip!

No should be fine - but if there are flies around slather on some fly spray as they'll be able to bite ponio much easier with no hair!

I was waiting to see you post about clipping before buying some of the masterclip ones. Do let us know if they work well.

I hope he'll be friskier!! He's been a bit lazy recently since his coat started coming through.

Yeah, they can be frisky. One of mine I wont touch straight after clipping (he's crazy for several days after...!) whereas my other one who's pretty lazy just bucks a lot.

Ellie was like this when her coat started to change so we clipped her as it was a bit warm at the time too. Much more livley now
