What's the general consensus? My boy is having his today. He can't go out at the moment because his field is practically under water so he will need a leg stretch tonight.
I've heard that you are not supposed to get them sweaty, but then someone this morning said she thought it was ok whatever work you do with them.
Are there any brilliant veterinary types out there who can clarify? My vet's a busy guy and the yard will be holding my horse for him as I'm in work, which is why I can't ask direct.

Modern vaccines have improved so the old precautions no longer apply. My vet advises it's OK to carry on with normal schooling. You might not want to go eventing or competing but every day riding is fine to continue as normal.
