For those that have had baby's, how long till you started riding again and did you have natural or c section? When i do start riding again its only gonna be a couple of times a month due to finance and time but at least its something.....baby will come first.

I started riding again about 6 weeks after I had my little boy (natural delivery). I now ride about 3 times a week, have a weekly lesson and see my Mare every day. Although I love my boy dearly I find having my horse a god send as it gives me a chance to catch up on my alone time. It's the only place in the world where I can instantly relax. My little boy is now 7 months old and loves coming down the yard with me. He has done so since he was 2 weeks old! Hopefully he'll love riding as much as I do when he gets older.

With my first baby it was about 3 months before I could ride again. natural delivery with stitches but took a while to get back to normal. second baby was born in January and I was 6 weeks before riding again, as I recovered so much quicker the second time round, even though I had the same delivery and stitches. Every ones body's are different and everyone's recovery is so different. Youll know when your ready. It feels soooo good after a long break.

A girl I knew a couple of years ago was poo-picking when she came into labour. I was away with work for a week, she was back into her size 10's schooling her very fizzy mare. I was gobsmacked!!!! Actually we all were - this was her fourth!

My first was a week but I was useless for quite a few weeks and I wasn't always comfortable... but I was stubborn and I think it was important for me to have my space and for Daddy to have his time alone with the Bubba.

Was months before I rode after my second, mainly because I was so busy and a little nervous about getting back on after so long!

Ive just had my third though, shes nearly 5 weeks and Im hoping to be riding again soon!
