riding after vaccinations

pony had flu and tet today , how long are you meant to not ride them is it a couple of days? ive been told they musnt get sweaty as can cause bad reaction and daughter hoping to do first show on thursday so bit worried

Last time I had my horses vaccinations done I had a dressage test on the same day!

I was assured by the vet no harm would be done but was told not to do loads of fast work with him ( not that I was planning on it!) It didn't do him any harm although I did feel like a bit of a mean mum!

I asked my vet this not that long ago, he said that I'd be fine 2 ride the same day as long as it wasn't hard work && carry on as normal after that. So By Thursdays Yooh will be well away =]

My vet said it's fine to ride straight after just don't get them hot and sweaty.
