Surely there has to be something to prevent hat hair? :(. I'm now riding before work every morning, but there's no time to go home and shower afterwards. It's a bit icky. Aside from not wearing a hat, are there any secrets I'm not privy to about how to 'un-hat hair' hat hair?

Mine is fairly long so I shower in the morning and whilst it's still damp, french plait it.
By the time I finish down the yard, my hair has curled from drying in the plait.
Et voila! Work hair - I also just spritz a bit of body mist through it (just in case!).

Agree with amymay (we clearly don't wash our hair enough :p ) it's fantastic stuff, just put head upside down spray it in all over give it a shake/brush and all done :) smells nice too.

I've never actually tried dry shampoo... I'll give it a go. Does it combat general dullness, or is it just a grease buster? My hair doesn't really go greasy after riding, just rather lack lustre.

It gives it volume, I use it everyday even just after i've washed my hair to stop it looking flat. Batiste is a good one to try. Love it!

:D:D Actually, I do wash my hair nearly ever day:p

But on the odd occasion I have used dry shampoo it's been brill.

Ha ha love this thread!! I too suffer from hat hair but i have quite short hair so tend to disguise it with various types/amounts of gel/wax etc and it usually ends up looking like i have been electrified (in fact think Beaker from the Muppetts and you have me!:D)

may have to give the dry shampoo a go though as I find my wooly hat does more damage than my riding hat and i can't go hatless at this time of year

If it is just dull, how about using one of the spray conditioners? Dove do one, which will help brighten your hair up (the idea of making mine fuller fills me with horror!)

NEVER tried dry shampoo?! You have not lived!! Prepare for your hygiene standards to be lowered!

I like the superdrug one as it is less powdery than batiste. Volume in no time!

I've only recently started using dry shampoo - absolutely AMAZING stuff!!!

Can now get away with washing my hair every 3rd or 4th day. Love it xx
