Riding Boot Size

I am looking at getting a pair of Mountain Horse Long Boots, I'm a 7.5 UK would I get away with a 42 EU?
Also has anyone had problems with the elastic pannel along the back?

No trouble with the elastic, but look after the zips! I've needed the zips repairing and replacing on mine.
