Riding boots for men, who makes nice chunky ones?

Need some boots for my husband, either long or joddy and chaps, but don't want the traditional look, need something a bit chunky - think the Harry Hall long boot range, but for men! Anyone got any suggestions?

mountain horse boots look quite chunky, hope you didn't suffer too much from smoke today

I had a pair of MH chunky boots and stopped using them as they were horrible to ride in. Dangerous too as they used to get trapped in the stirrups.

My Oh lives in his Mountain Horse High riders - He has a pair in Black for hunting and competing and brown for everyday and yard work. He also has the Mountain horse steel toecap jod boots and loves them.

I have the Mountain horse boots as well and have never had a problem with them being too big for the stirrups - I have 4.75 stirupps and my Oh has 5" stirrups - no problem what soever
