I'm looking for some advice regarding riding boots for men.

Currently I ride with brown Ariat short boots and chaps, they are lasting well so the brand certainly has my interest.

I have riding lessons with the view of doing some very low level jumping (clear round) and go hunting a few times this season with hirelings. I also played a bit of polo over the summer and enjoyed that so would hope to do some more of that.

Now I know that all of those disciplines have different styles of footwear for various reasons. I'm looking for my first pair of boots an hoping to get a 'do it all' style.

My first thought is the Ariat Bromonts. Good choice? Would you go insulated or non?

Any other boot suggestions?

I'm not a man but I wanted to say for hunting everything is quite traditional so I would think any boots that are fine for hunting would be fine for everything else. I love Ariat boots too and I would rather have feet a bit too warm in summer than too cold in winter!
