Im doing a Riding club pony class on my 14.2 connie on monday. Do you think i should show him in his hanging cheek snaffle, to show he is a snaffle mouth, or in his pelham? It is only a local show btw.

It doesnt state anywhere that you have to ride in a snaffle. He doesnt need brakes, and works well in both bits so do i go for the smart pelham or the more practical snaffle?

If he's fine than stick to the snaffle!
Its nice to see horses/ponies in plain bits

Definately either of the snaffles, you'll score more brownie points with the judge if your pony goes beautifully in a snaffle rather than a pelham!

I would expect to see all ponys in a snaffle for a RC class at a local show.
