Riding club - Wrexham area

So - I'm debating joining a riding club. I've had my cob for a few years, and I'm wondering if this should be my next step in owning him?

I've never competed due to nerves etc, so was basically wondering if there would be a place for me in riding club? I've had no dealings with a riding club before, so my perception that they're very competition-based my be completely wrong...

Also, which would you recommend for the wrexham area?

Hi there is the East Clwyd Riding Club and the Flint and Denbigh Riding Club, both have websites and hold clinics and rallies and also competitions but you can do as little or as much as you feel happy with. I'm not a member but know plenty of people who are and they are a friendly bunch.
