Riding Clubs in Gloucestershire/Bristol area

I'm looking to join a riding club in the gloucestershire/bristol area but don't know the area that well and what different ones there are and what they're like! I have a couple of horses that I compete in affiliated dressage, british eventing and bsja, as well as regularly bringing on youngsters. I am looking for a friendly riding club with lots of training and opportunities for teams and competitions. If you know anything about any of the riding clubs in this area (I'm near Berkeley) then please let me know, any feedback would be really appreciated!

Without using Google I can only answer and say that there's Bath Riding Club.

There are quite a few Bristol peeps on here though who will probably be able to help a lot more than me!

I'm in Severn Vale Riding Club. They send teams to area events and hold shows etc.

There is Berkeley &district, Kingsleaze, Cotswold Edge, Severnvale. It all really depends on where your yard is located - so that rallies etc are held at places that you will find easy to get to. They all have websites, so I suggest you download their newsletters and look at where they are holding things. Most Riding Clubs will be holding their AGM's soon, so its a good time to join.

Severn Vale website is currently down! They're having a few problems... Rallies are around Wickwar, Leyland Court, Yate areas

Berkley and District RC
Frampton Family RC
Kings Leaze RC all do team events, and I know members who say they are very friendly
also there is Severn Vale RC (not sure how many teams they do)
