Which are the best riding clubs and why?

Thinking of joining one next year but don't know which ones are good. I'm Maidstone area. Main reason being i've been at the same yard for 20 odd years and i find the hacking boring so would like to get out and about and do things without it always being a comp (got a sharer who enjoys the hacking!). Prince will pretty much turn his hoof to anything.

Or can anyone recommend good clinics etc?

Maidstone riding club is an excellent club and has been going for years. As for clinics Andrew Day and Andrew Gould come to Speedgate and Nurstead Court on a monthly basis.

PM me if you would like further details.

Cool thanks off to have a look at their website, my sister rides in their SJ team i think so that would make sense i suppose as she might want to do their other stuff. Certainly not up to that sort of thing though, we're more at the 2' level at the mo!

Yes would be interested in clinics, i know Speedgate but not Nurstead.

I was a member of faversham and district a few years ago and they were pretty good with clinics/ teams etc! Everyone was nice and friendly. I didn't keep up with my membership as I didn't have my own transport and couldn't really get involved as much as I would of liked so didn't feel I was getting my moneys worth.

Hi

I'm with Hadlow RC, Tunbridge Wells RC (who do an awesome beginner ODE), and Rother Valley, who are slightly bigger but so friendly and welcoming.
