Im not in one yet but I have Castleford and DCs nearby.
I went to 2 shows last year, one for each club and they are both so friendly, nice atmosphere, well run.
Ill probably join both if I can

I belong to Limpsfield Riding Club. What I like about it is:

  • nice people
  • regular clinics with excellent trainers
  • a supportive environment that's not overly competitive
  • a real mix of levels and all types of horses

The riding club is a good way to meet like-minded people and watch and take part in training sessions. We also have monthly dressage competitions, usually with registered judges, but you don't have to be formally turned out so there's a good atmosphere - a great way to practice your tests, particularly if you're moving up a level. The club also sends dressage teams to BRC events and I've taken part in these :)

I was a member of Ebor Vale, although haven't got round to renewing yet:eek:. They are very nice and friendly although there doesn't seem to be much going on.
Selby & District is also nearby and they are good too, with slightly more going on.
