Hi all, is there anyone out there able to advise me on what to wear for riding during pregnancy?

I'm only 3 months pregnant but am already finding my jods are a bit tight and are becoming uncomfortable to wear! I have searched the internet to find (to my surprise) that maternity jodphurs are not sold

Any ideas/solutions?

Big thanks!

I've been wearing the same cheap tescos joggers since I was about 4 months now 7, they are quite thin but have a few holes in where they've caught on my chaps. I looked for something suitable and theres nothing did order some massive harry hall jods but they're as baggy as the joggers on my legs so sold them.

I'm so over being pregnant now sorry

I just went up a size. I find high waisted stretchy jods work best as they sit over the bump and give you a bit of support, tho low rise skinny jeans work for everyday if you're not doing anything too strenuous. I also find a 'belly bra' (try 'bump to 3') great for a bit of extra support. If you're competing/hunting you'll need to find some pale jods/breeches that work for you - I just went into the saddlers and tried on loads, but I found my beige harry hall 'knitted' type breeches did me until about 30 weeks when I stopped competing, tho they they still haven't got their pre pregnancy shape back! If they have 2 hooks on the front that gives you a bit of adjustment. As I write this (3rd preg, 3 months) I am wearing some just togs jods which are very high waisted and should be comfy for a while yet. A word of warning - I found some people very critical of my decision to ride and compete (at a low level) while pregnant, tho hunting people seemed more understanding, so do be prepared for some nasty comments. Good luck and hope you manage to keep riding for a good bit yet

Musto Snugs in larger sizes than I'd normally wear. So, so comfy I wore them all through pregnancy and were the only things I wore for ages after too! Expensive, but worth the comfort.
