My daughter outgrew her riding hat a year or so ago after only wearing in once a week for 6 mths. it is in like-new condition, however, I can't seem to sell it! to be fair, I wouldn't buy a second hand riding hat for my daughter or myself, regardless of how much the seller insists it has had no knocks or falls, so I can understand why it wont sell and i've priced it fairly reasonably. so, what do I do with it? :/ any ideas? its just gathering dust at home atm.

ok, hadn't thought of that....I think i'll ring the one that taught my daughter to ride to see if they want it! :) thanks

I don't think riding schools can accept them because of insurance as they have no way of knowing if it has had an impact. Usually you end up throwing them away, I'm afraid.

Either damage it beyond repair and throw it in the bin, ask a local infant teacher if they want it for dressing up or use it as a novelty hanging basket. I would never suggest that anyone, particularly a child, should buy a second hand hat, we all only get one head!
