Riding hats, showjumper 2000 or JW?

Anyone have either of these? What are they like (i.e. height off head wise etc). I'm after a low profile navy velvet with leather harness and these are the only two I can find.

I dont like Charles owen hats, don't fit me well! But i prefer the shape of the JW if they fit you!!

I've got the Charles owen XP (I think).

I hated the JW, it had a weird leathery bit at the back. I look like an egg-head in everything though but opted for the CO.

I find the Charles Owen Show jumper horrible and uncomfortable, wasnt fussed on the JW either and eventually stumbled across a champion velvet hat with a flesh/leather harness, its fab and was a bit cheaper than the other two it was £95 from the shop at somerford park.

Charles Owen XP has a lower profile than the h2000. They are very popular with the showing people.

I think I'm going to look like an egg head in anything.

Oh well, I'll have a look into the XP, it's cheaper too which is always a plus.

I think the charles owen are too mushroom like (or it maybe my head)

I'd go for the Gatehouse Hickstead - its' as near to the traditional beagler as you'll get....
