I chucked my jockey skull during the summer once I had finished working at summer camp and didn't have enough room to take it with me. I have have it for 6 years. At the moment I riding in my show hat but I'm looking for a new jockey skull. What do you suggest. I had a champion euro delux before and would seriously think about getting another one.

I have a charles owen J3, it is by far the most comfortable hat I have ever owned, it also looks good, and is really safe. I've even started a trend on the yard because 3 people now have them! They are about £90 but well well worth it.

If champion fitted you well, you may find Charles Owen don't. Thats what i've found anyway! Champion vent air would be my vote too!

Really? Are they particularly good/comfortable? Browsing for a new had myself. Are they very expensive?

I have to say that I have always had champion hats as they do seem to fit me better. Will have a look at the vent air. With the Euro Delux I would often get a sweaty and itchy forehead so the ventair might be better.

I have a ventair, and my only complaint about it is the way it makes my forehead sweat up. The inside is now so disgusting (after less than a year) that I am considering binning it and getting a new GPA Airflow for shows instead. I did use the Ventair everyday, but have just bought a new Champion helmet - not sure of it's name but it looks more like a cycle helmet and was about half the price

for everyday use, and it seems to breathe much better

J3 is amazing, it is so comfy and never moves! It is quite expensive (£90ish) but I brought mine as a reward for not going out whilst doing A-levels, I managed to save enough money to buy it just from not going out on the p**s for 3 weeks!

If you don't want to fork out on the J3, the Adventura is very good also.

Just replaced as needed a new hat, but it still fits the same as it did the day I got it. Very very good hat

I was going to get a champion euro but vanity prevented me as so big - ended up with a ventair which I love. Its low profile, comfortable and lightweight.
