Riding holidays help!!

Hi was wondering if anyone can help looking to go away for a weekend probably wanting to go fri eve and come back sunday eve, live in northants so 3hrs is max travelling! Im a experienced rider and my dad has been having lessons, (dont want to take my boy) so need 2 horses and accomadation for 2 nights. I have tried googling but it brings up foreign ones, if anyone can help it would be great!!!

Tricky one, only know B&B type places where you take your own horse. Would have thought only trekking centres would have horses to hire, so that is the main tourist areas like Wales and Scotland and Cornwall, so bit more than 3 hours.

Have you tried various tourist boards or somewhere like British Horse Society for approved riding centres? I found one that did rides on the beach in Norfolk, would something like that do?

We go to Cornwall and the people there have become very close horsey friends. They have a yard and a self-catering hut in Pensilva on Bodmin Moor. They can't lend out horses, though.

Hi, I'm taking mine to Holkham in Norfolk in Sept, I live in Northants and I think it is less than 3 hours away.
I'm sure there is a riding stables there that hack out and do beach riding. Not sure of the name, I'll have a look later!
