Has anyone been to any great places in Spain? I am looking for a -Cheap- (less than £650 for 5-7days maybe not including flights) riding hol on Spanish horses, including mostly trecking but with either somewhere nearby for classical instruction or on site classical tuition (probs 2 lessons depending on price), for next summer.

So not at all a tall order...

Thankyou

I had a terrible time at Epona - got food poisoning while I was there - not necessarily their food as I ate out once, but they were not helpful or sympathetic and I was very ill. If you just want trecking it may be fine, but if you want to learn classical dressage its a big NO as the horses I rode were working elementary at a push. I was looking to learn tempi changes, passage etc not trundle round on a completly unfit, unbalanced horse.

try this one!

I went here and it was great. they do trekking and lessons in the same holiday. If you fly to Malaga it's very cheap to get to Seville by train and they pick you up from there, although you can fly direct of course.

ohhh thanks everyone, will check them out tomorow

and im a veggie, its hard enough to find eddible spanish food without being ill off it lol. I can't afford it anyway unless my lottery numbers come up shortly

Shame to hear that about Epona as they were always fantastic - in fact I sold my little gelding, Gitano, to them and I am absolutely made up to see that they still have him

He is on the retired page, and this was him in action with me...
