Riding horses on beaches

Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows of any beaches near to brighton that allow you to ride horses on.

I was told Ferring beach is ok, is this true?

help would be brilliant as heading off early tomorrow morning for Ferring if there are no better suggestions. And if anyone has been to ferring, is it pretty straight forward to find, as all beaches look the same to me, and is there parking for a horsebox?

I can't offer much help because it's been a long time since I rode in the area, but I used to ride on Climping beach quite a lot which used to be loads nicer than Ferring, it's on the west side of Littlehampton, the signs used to be for 'Rope Walk' I think. As I say, it's been a long time since I rode there and regulations may have changed, could you phone the council to ask where you can ride?
