Riding in and around Glasgow

I have a friend who is a competent rider (in PC teams) who gave up for a few years mainly for study and work reasons and she would like to restart. She works and lives in Glasgow and would be happy to ride out within reasonable commuting distance. Anyone out there who might be pleased for some assistance in this regard?

Can I suggest she puts an advert on local riding club's websites - She will get the website addresses from the BRC page on the BHS website. Clubs local to the area include Lanark, Polnoon and Strathkelvin. She could also put an ad up in the local tack shops.

Does she have an interest in showing? I'm going to be looking for some help during the summer, although even help excercising my lot would be good.

I'm 28 miles west of Glasgow and had a previous sharer from there (who unfortunately had to move to Edinburgh through her employment). Can you PM me if she would like a chat or to come and meet my herd?
