Riding in Kent - Help!

Hello,
I have recently moved to South East London and I am looking for somewhere to ride or share a horse for the next few months. I am in the process of saving enough to buy a decent one for myself but I need to keep my bum in the saddle! I've tried a couple of the riding schools in Kent some within the M25 and some just outside and it is has been a depressing exercise (all geared towards kids and once a week riders) ...I had been sharing a lovely 16h+ Warmblood near my previous home so horse so going back to riding schools is very frustrating...
Can I anyone recommend any places to have lessons on a quality forward going horses/schoolmasters or know of any sharers needed at private yards in the Kent area? preferably just inside or outside the M25 (Sevenoaks, Westerham etc)
I am in my thirties, work in central London and I am able to make a decent financial contribution towards lessons or sharing. I am keeping an eye on all the sharer websites but nothing suitable has come up...
Any thoughts, leads or offers welcome....

There are horses for loan advertised on the Kent based forum Tackroom Frolics, alternatively post your own 'wanted' advert on said forum. Good luck!
 
I ride a friends horse (on the hunt for mine at the moment) at a yard just outside Bromley, I will let you know if I hear of anything!
 
How good a rider are you. I may need a rider for a short while as my rider is injured (not from my horse). Am near Brands Hatch area, PM me if you would like further details.
 
FYI Oldencraig equestrian centre is on groupon at the moment. It's 27 for a private lesson. Great way to see if you like it for a lower price. I've just booked myself in for one. I'm moving to Kent and taking up horse riding again. Can't wait :o)
 
Hi, when are you able to ride.. I have 3 horses that I need help with both schooling and hacking. 1 16.2 tb x wb, 1 17.2 wb and 1 15.2 tb. All well behaved ( most of the time). I have my own school with jumps and reasonable hacking either with me or alone. No financial contributions needed. I am based just outside sevenoaks ?

I would really recommend Oldencraig! Besides being a really beautiful place, with superb facilities, you get to ride some wonderful horses. I just had one lesson (cost me £45, I think!!) on a stunning schoolmaster (before I bought H). The instructor was excellent and really worked hard with me, as well as giving me a guided tour of the place etc. I had a lovely afternoon, learnt a lot and would think that Groupon offer should be snapped up!! ;)

Now I have H, of course I don't need to go over there - even though I would love to!
 
You could try bedgebury, it's lovely and has horses that are actually schooled nicely! Also more geared towards adults than kids. Think they have a promotion on at the mo, have a look on their website it's good.

Thank you! Nice to hear something nice about OC I was apprehensive as it has had mixed reviews on here. I might give it a try.
