I just thought I would share the most amazinng riding experience i have ever had with you. Earlier this month I had the pleasure and privalege to ride across the Andes from Argentina to Chile. I rode up to 4380m along steep passes and across the roughest terrain I could imagine riding across. My companion for the trip was a little coloured chap called Hemanito. He was a star, all I had to do was stay in balance and not get in his way, he did all the rest, took me up and down steep ravines, across rock strewn scree slopes. He was amazing, so sure footed. My spoilt English horse would have had forty fits and broken a leg at the site of what this little fellow trundled up with ease. The views were truely amazing. It is a wild and untouched land. If you are fancying a wild and beautiful horsey break I would highly recommend it. I took part as part of the Prince's Trust Challenge. It was just fab!!
