I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good instructor who is fairly local to the York/ Selby area. I would prefer to go to them just so as it gets my horse out and seeing new things and hopefully they will have better facilities, however I would be open to having someone come to the yard if nescessary. I have recently bought a young horse and really need some regular instruction on the flat and Jumping. Ideally I would like him to event but at the moment that seems a million miles away and just need to get him going with the basics and to start progressing. I appreciate good instruction costs good money, however a few I have found are £45 an hour which is just too much for me on a weekly basis with travel on top.
Any suggestions?

there is lots of great instructors in and around York i personally Use Sue Joy in Haxby and Tori Wright of Ebor house stables Both really great teachers in there own right one amazing flatwork teacher (Sue) other great confidence giver and breaks horses for a living so is used to dealing with lots of different horsey personalities and is great at jumping as is eventing herself and very reasonably priced much less than £45 an hour both do lessons at there own yard or they can come to you. where abouts are you based?? I can give you there details if you like through PM
