Does anyone know of a sensitive and patient riding instructor in the cambs, north herts, north essex, west suffolk area?
Preferably someone with classical dressage training but who can also help with some jumping etc. and who would be able to travel to the yard.
Thanks.

Hi.

She won't travel to your yard, but i really recommend a trip to Becky Chapman at Ashen Equestrian Centre near Sudbury (she has a website). If you can get to her it's well worth it. She's also been accepted to train with Phillipe Karl this year so sounds like what you're looking for? She's the best instructor i've ever come across :)

That is the only problem - and without my own horse i make do with an occasional simulator session and then practising when i ride my friends horse. However, they are worth the money because you can get to pin point a problem quickly and easily in a nice warm room - bit like a winter lunge lesson without the wind/rain :D and to have an instructor be able to adjust your position in canter.....well, they'd have to run pretty fast to do it for real!!

I'm now looking for a yard to go to for lessons in suffolk (until i get my own horse to travel to Beckys with). Going to try one nearest to me and see how i go. Fingers crossed.

Good luck with the search.
