Just wondered - i have Mr Schoolmaster he is getting on now in the body but not the brain.
I dont care I love him and every time i ride him I learn more from him than any other animal you could ride. Yep I am sometimes scared of him, and today when my RI was making me canter him with his head stretched down ..... almost on the end of the buckle and just feeling him at the end of the reins...... I felt sick as she said "ask for canter" in one of those voices that had already told MR S what he was doing I then proceeded to squeal with delight, had a grin that showed my two rows of teeth and then gave him a huge hug when we went into the most undignified halt - just because MR S knew I would fall off with excitement if he did not stop.
i then said, thank you a thousand times to the horse and the RI, said he has done enough and gave him a polo, and came home as happy as happy could be.
We had only probably had 20 mins of the 45 min lesson - but you know what I had done enough, my pony had done more than enough and I was well happy. Only person looking slightly dazed and confused was my lovelly RI - and I just thought - she honestly thinks I am mad !
