Can any one help please?
A friend of mine is after some lessons at a nice riding school before she takes the plunge in buying her own again after a couple of years break from it.
I really only know the north of bristol.
She lives in Redland and does not currently drive so could do with a nice place that she can get a bus to.

Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance :)

There's also Urchinwood Manor, about 15 / 20 mins drive from Bristol.

Yes, I forgot about that place, may be ok for her, not sure about buses down that way as its fairly rural, I don't like the place personally but that is for different reasons ;)

Sorry fi, I got carried away with my i's earlier, I just noticed, me and my fat fingers! :D

There are buses to Urchinwood (on the main bus route to Weston Super Mare) but not the most convenient times and it's a bit of a walk from the bus stop to the stables. Not sure how well they'd work with evening lessons, but doable in day times (friend has horse on livery there and only just passed her test).

I used to ride there until I moved to Devon and thought they were OK - turnout not the best as the soil is really clayy but a decent variety of horses and ponies.
