riding lessons in cumbria???lessons on beach??

maybe this isnt right place to post but here goes...am looking for riding lessons in cumbria, I have my own horses but only have a field or travel to menage. does anyone kno good freelance instructors?have been looking at riding schools cos would do me good to ride different horses, best one I can find seems to be blackdyke ec!also has anyone ever had lessons on beach. I have trailer so can transport horses?

Hi there,

I've been to two 'schools' in Cumbria.

Unfortunetly they seemed more focused on providing the views/scenery for the riders instead of tuition.

If you are wanting a ride on the beach on a different horse check out Cumbrian Heavy Horses. I had a fabulous time with them, their horses are not submissive and very much enjoy their work. Beach rides are about £90 I think (for half day) but well worth it. Very knowledgable yard and they do offer tuition.
