Can anyone give me some tips on learning to ride? The thing is I use to be able to do cross-country and show jumping, but on a very small scale. I haven't ridden for a long time, although a couple of years ago I use to ride my friend's horse, but I have moved since then. Sadly.
But I am lucky in the fact that I can still able to handle horses due to the fact that a few horses are staked out across the beck, where we live and the owner is ok with me going and visiting them and giving them carrots, apples etc. The horses always wait for me!

Hi, I used to go to a place in Otley called Acrecliffe Equestrian Centre - which teaches at all levels.

I did my BHS Stage 1 there a few years ago, I would highly recommend!

If you don't have your own transport - buses go straight from Leeds....
