Pointless and slightly self indulgent post really but need encouragement and calming vibes!

After 5 months of searching have finally found my mini dressage horse in the form of Catnip a 15.2hh, 4 yr old Danish WB.

Picked him up Sunday and considering he's never been anywhere since he got off the boat as a yearling he's been a little star. Have lunged him a couple of times (he's read all the books) and now he's settled in a bit, trainer is coming this afternoon to give me a bit of a lesson or ride him first, we'll play it by ear really.

Bit apprehensive as the last 'baby' I had nearly killed me but with hindsight I went about everything with her the wrong way. At least now I'am 8 years older and wiser and can afford help, before I get in a mess!

Will try and post piccies later but just wanted to get that off my chest, phew..

What an excellent name

I am always the same but if you have a good trainer I am sure you have nothing to worry about! Good luck and keep us all updated. He sounds gorgeous. I love Danish warmbloods.
