hi

after looking at photos in PG of people on the beach i want a go! but here are my 2 major problems:

1) i dont have a horse
2) i live in nottingham (for those of you bad at geography- not exactly coastal!

)

does anyone know of anywhere that does rides on beaches for fairly experienced riders? probably lincoln coast would be best.

anyone have any ideas? i think there would be a group of people interested in coming if there were such a place as to let us go riding on the beach.

thanks!

Sally

Cleethorpes beach is really good!! I used to keep my pony on livery at silver shoe so rode on the beach nearly everyday, now i live in derby and say every year im going to take the horses to Cleethorpes.
Its only about an 1hr 20 mins from Notts.

I went to silvershoe as a tenager,but it has changed hands and i wouldnt like to say what quality of horse etc you would get(couldnt even say how well looked after they are these days,which is always the deciding factor for me

Theddlethorpe is absolutely awesome,we used to take the racehorses there for part of their training,ya dont see a human for miles(near mablethorpe)see if you can find anybody that loans out for beach rides round there

Golden sands at mablethorpe is a lovely beach to go on, and even has the seal sanctuary as well.

You are able to ride on this beach all year
