Atm, I am currently finding it really hard to ride to ride on weekdays with gcse's just around the corner a lot of time is spent revising!- and so only find time to ride at the weekends.

My little connie is a hard ride and I wouldn't even think about putting him on share as he is like a ticking time bomb, and is very sensitive and cannot be kicked (think he has been abused with spurs when younger) so won't do that.

So about going on ill just get straight to point!
Is there any idea's to keep him content and less full of energy when it comes to riding him? And anything to do with him once I go down to see him from school?
And also he is being fed chaff and pasture mix with a carrot with a wheelbarrow of hay- so any tips on feeding? Anything appreciated!

My daughter is having the same problem so I empathise.

We've had to cut our boys feed right down to just a handful at night & a small haynet when he comes in (usually leaves some) as he's still on very good grazing & lives on fresh air! He normally has a big round scoop of competition mix twice a day. She's having a break from competing him too as we just can't fit it all in!

Hopefully you'll be able to get some more riding done in the Xmas holidays xx

First of all, I sympathise. I've just finished my mocks and I have my GCSE's around the corner too. They're bloomin' annoying!!

Anyway, could you not get someone to lunge daily? Just an Idea :)

If you can get to see him on weekdays but in the dark, play with him, maybe spending time doing some groundwork will keep his mind occupied and he won't be as silly or sharp at weekends
