Just sat contemplating how much better I ride other peoples horses than I seem to ride my own! I had a job interview on Saturday for a rather well known dressage rider, I sat on 2 of his horses and felt very together and was offered the job. Last night I sat on a friends young horse and again felt very effective with my riding despite the worst bout of death flu ever! Yet when it comes to India, I feel all over the shop some days! Totally unable to step back and assess like I can with other horses. Does anyone else feel this? Maybe I should pretend she isnt mine!!
