my mare is in foal due 20th april the problem is that she went mad and chucked me of the other day when iwent to get on her (it was likje a rodeo don't think i even got totaly in the saddle). i then tried again same result so put another saddlecloth on and she then let me ride her. my first thought was saddle was pinching so got saddlery out nothing wrong with saddle fitting perfect. so got vet out not lame or got sore back. i don't know why she done this she is usualy the quietest plesentest horse you could meet. do you think she just can't be bothered getting ridden any suggestion to what to do or what is wrong with her

way back in the day, my sister rode her first pony right up until the day before she gave birth, we had no idea the pony was pregnant (we were v. naive) and neither did the people we bought her off a few months previous. we noticed she was getting fat but were non the wiser so kept working her and cut her feed down. lucky for us the foal was born healthy with no problems what so ever.
