My instructor isnt renewing her licence once it runs out this week. No more lessons. Only private ones so she'll be selling all the ponies and cobs except one.
Its so sad, theres almost no riding schools now in our area, damn insurance! Im really going to miss the ponies, they're all such characters,

Thats so sad - red tape, licences, insurance, legislation, blah blah...all seem to conspire to shut small businesses down or at least give them as hard a time as possible. Hope all the ponios find loving homes.

the riding school up the road from me has just closed down and is now a livery yard because of the expense of running the indoor school and insurance costs. There are also rumours of another school closing down because of a compulsory purchase order. That means the nearest one to me would be almost 30 miles away.
