Riding schools, Exeter area

My boyfriend's sister is looking to find somewhere for her 10 year old daughter to start learning to ride. I've just been on the phone to her and she has been looking up places but without knowing much herself is at a bit of a loss as to where to try and that's when I thought of you lot!

So...anyone have any recommendations for good places to learn in Exeter and surrounding areas?

I used to live and compete /livery in Exeter so know most/all of the yards- I'd rather PM you the good, the bad and the ugly if thats alright with you?

I have heard some good things about Oaklands - on the south side of Exeter just off the A30

Oaklands isn't bad but I found Budleigh Salterton best if you don't mind a bit of a drive (about 20mins south of Exeter)
