Riding schools Huddersfield/Halifax

My step daughter has, thank the good lord decided ponies are for her. Yay

Not originally being from this area i need to find her a good riding school. Shes currently 6 so itll be "walk outs" that type of thing to start with. Does anyone know of somewhere in the Huddersfield/Halifax area?

I would recommend Lowfold in Lepton, Huddersfield, although I haven't been recently (did a course there several years ago) they had some very genuine horses and ponies at the time.

there is a RS at Junction 23 off the M62 at outlane. don't know what its like or called tho!!

We live very near junction 23 and would recomend Lynne Jagger at the Children's Riding School at Northawrum. My sister, Pearlsasinger, has taken children there from a school she taught at in Halifax, (children were 6) and Lynne has a nice range of ponies, a lovely manner and does RDA as does Low fold.

Would also recommend Low Fold at Lepton. We took my novice daughter there for a period of 6 months in between having loan ponies. She really came on with her riding and confidence levels. They have some lovely ponies and seem a decent set up.
