Riding schools in and around Farnham?

Any recommendations of riding schools that’re good with kids in Farnham or the surrounding area? Tried one, unimpressed with the spooky pony used for an 8yo with zero riding experience. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Mayfair Farm in a Churt are very good with kids. Reasonably priced and down to earth, friendly stables. They may have a waiting list though. Ponies used in beginner lessons are very steady.

There’s also Larkspur Equestrian in Eweshot, I have no experience personally but I know someone who rides there and they are very positive. It’s more expensive and from what I heard the ponies are more forward, which may or may not be what you’re looking for.

My pleasure. As I say, they are very popular and did have a waiting list for beginners but I think they’ve just opened up a new beginners class so you might be lucky.
