Hi, long-time lurker here posting for the first time!
I'm going to be starting at Winchester University in a couple of weeks, and leaving my horse at home, which will be heartbreaking.
I don't want to give up riding completely while I'm at uni, but I don't think I'll have the time or money to share a horse, so I'm planning to just have lessons whenever I can afford them (maybe once a fortnight/every three weeks). Can anyone recommend a good riding school in the Winchester area? So far my Googling has turned up a place called Tanglewood Equestrian Centre - doesn't look like it's BHS or ABRS approved, but the website looks quite encouraging and formal approval doth not a riding school make, so does anyone know if it's as good as the website makes out?
Obviously location-wise, the closer to the city centre the better for me, but I am prepared to make some arduous bus journeys to get to a really good riding school.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
