Hi i just wondered if im right in saying there are no riding schools around South Bristol, i am currently riding at Gordano which is a lovely little place with fantastic ponies and an amazing instructer but i live in Bedminster so it is a nightmare and im only going once every 2 weeks plus they are ponies and i am used to riding horses :( after 2 years out of the saddle due to no riding school i was desperate and couldnt find anywhere else any help would be appreciated  Thanks in advance- Lilly

Also not interested in Avon, Kingsweston or Oak Tree (which is closing), been there done that.

It's a lot further out but what about Urchinwood Manor at Wrington? It's about 30-40 mins drive in rush hour from central Bristol though of an evening. I had lessons there for 2 years after a long break from riding and before I got my own horse.

There is a new RS just outside of Keynsham run by Kay Padfield who was at Oaktree I think. It's called Church Farm & has a FB page. I'm not sure if they have horses tho, or if it is just ponies.
