Riding schools

Hi !! I was wondering if anyone knew of any riding schools never the Inverclyde area. I used to ride and i want to get back into it and eventually try loaning a horse depending on how it all goes. I am willing to travel a little bit but hopefully not too much. Thank you if you can help !!!

You could try Ardgowan riding centre. I don't know anything about it as I have just passed it in the car. It is on the road to Wemys bay coming from Greenock.

Fordbank is near Johsntone, there is another over that way but I can't remember the name at the moment.

There is another one in Busby, but that might be a bit too far to travel.

Go to www.bhs.org.uk it is the British horse society website , click on find a place to ride , you can then insert your post code and get a list of registered schools. It shows 4 for Inverclyde area put Scotland or next nearest city for a bigger selection
