Hey,
I don't really post too much on here, but I was so happy with today's riding!
I don't own my own horse, but I ride for a lady in the next village, try to do this about once a week. I've had a week off, so been down there about 3 times this week!
Well today I was working in the field with Soli, just doing the flat work to start with, then ended up doing some jumps. She is quite a strong horse, not a first time horse. But she wasn't taught how to jump properly, and so she just flies at the jumps, and doesn't really know what to do with trotting poles! We have been taking her back to basics, and just trotting over the mini jumps and walking them etc. Today is the first time I have jumped her properly and she did them so nicely
However, she did stop at one while in trot and I didn't quite get myself back together and fell off! It was pretty funny though, as I managed to end up sitting on the jump!
