Can anyone recommend riding trousers for men as my OH wants a new pair for Christmas. He has a pair of Equetech ones that he bought about 18 months ago, but they don't seem to be on their website now. He doesn't like jodhpurs, but likes riding trousers as he can wear them with chaps and his mountain horse boots and doesn't feel, in his words, "stupid"! :)

I like Tuk Tuk riding trousers and they are very comfy (lots of stretch) and hard wearing. Note of caution, their sizing is on the small side and they do tend to shrink with washing, so size up & wear a belt to start with. As they have a double lined inner leg, you don't need chaps with them. There's several sorts, go for the heavy weight ones.

Or you can get Western riding jeans with a flat in-seam (essential!). They are available in the country from Rhinestone & other Western suppliers.
