The pony that I bought a couple of months ago, and which I have been having numerous problems with because of his bolshiness, is also displaying stallion-like behaviour. He is extremely dominant on the field towards his gelding field companion and is quite 'visible' at time in a way that I have never seen before with a gelding, but he clearly looks gelded. My YO has noticed this and has also commented that he backs up on muck-heap to go to the loo...apparently stallions behave like this (?). He has also started biting a lot, particularly when I am trying to do some ground work with him (doing some techniques to reduce the bolshiness) and moves his field companion around with bites.
It's going from bad to worse in every way. Today, after building up to it for a couple of weeks I rode him and he bronced repeatedly and holding him on the ground (even in a bridle) was near-on impossible. His behaviour is dangerous for all involved the people on the ground and the horses in the field. It has been suggested that I separate him from his field companion, but the bottom line is I think I've been sold a dud. Most worringly, I think he's a dud rig. Can anyone offer any guidance.

Get your vet out and let him have a look also there is a supplement called rigcalm. If he's not been gelded properly, he need the othe testicale taken out as it can cause cancer later on.
